My passion in anything computer related started about 26 years ago when my parents brought home the Radio Shack TRS-80 Model III

I can remember spending countless hours playing classic games like “Zork” and “Pyramid 2000”. The amazing thing about these games, is the fact that they where completely text driven using not a bit of graphics, and not to mention that the data was loaded to the PC via an audio tape player. If I was to unplug the line out jack I could actually hear the analog data, this amazed me. I remember listening in astonishment and wondering if it would be possible to understand this strange new language.

I have been working in the Computer industry for 14 years now. I started at the very beginning of a computer network and installed Cat-5 cable while working for Qualcomm. After several months I moved up to terminating patch panels, and then to server and workstation installation. I currently work in the IT industry where I specialize in Systems Administration. I have created countless web sites, and have several successful e-commerce sites. I run a small IT company in Southern California, and spend way too much time on the web.

What does all this have to do with my blog you ask? Absolutely nothing. blogplatoon.com is just one of my hobbies. I wonder where it will take me. Thats all for now, thanks for visiting.
